Ship a real business, not a prototype.
Subscriptions, billing emails, and account recovery all run for real — the product had to work end to end before the first customer paid for it.
Tools for local businesses
Small tools. A better everyday.
A subscription SaaS suite for local businesses, built and run in-house — live, and taking real subscriptions.
01 / THE CONTEXT
A local business rarely has the time or the budget for a full software suite — what it needs is a handful of specific jobs done well. mapmingo is built to host many small, focused tools rather than one large product, so a business can pick up exactly what it needs.
02 / THE FOCUS
Two tools are live today: one turns a customer's visit into an AI-drafted review they can edit and post in a tap, the other filters incoming feedback so a negative review reaches the owner privately before it reaches the public. Both run on real subscription billing, with a full account system behind them — sign-up, email verification, Google sign-in, and password recovery, not just a demo.
The priorities that shape the product and the experience.
Subscriptions, billing emails, and account recovery all run for real — the product had to work end to end before the first customer paid for it.
Drafting a review or triaging feedback are genuinely faster with AI assistance; the person stays the one who decides what gets posted.
The product is architected to host many small tools under one account and one billing system, so adding the next one doesn't mean starting over.
The decisions that shaped how this was actually put together.
mapmingo is structured to host many focused tools rather than one large product, because a local business rarely wants a suite — it wants one specific job done well. That architecture decision shows up in the account system, billing, and data model: adding the next tool shouldn't mean rebuilding sign-up, subscriptions, or business profiles.
Sign-up, email verification by one-time code, Google sign-in, password recovery, and recurring subscription billing all run in production. Those flows are unglamorous and easy to postpone in a side project — and they are exactly what has to work before anyone can pay you. Building them properly is the difference between a demo and a business.
One tool drafts review text a customer can edit and post in a tap; another filters incoming feedback so a negative comment reaches the owner privately before it reaches the public. Both use AI for drafting and triage while leaving the person in control of what actually gets published — assistance rather than automation of a decision that carries consequence.
